摘要: Results are presented from a large number of numerical simulations performed to investigate the dependence turbulentform drag on three-dimensional ellipsoidal hills upon aspect ratio and wind direction. For isolatedisotropic results are, as expected, found beindependent However directionaldependence rapidly becomes important ridges elongated,and quickly converge onto those obtained in limitingcase two-dimensional ridges. Based results,a simple parametrization is proposed.
