摘要: In this paper we review two debates in the current literature on clinical delusions. One debate is about what delusions are. If are beliefs, why they described as failing to play causal roles that characterise such being responsive evidence and guiding action? The other how develop. What processes lead people form maintain them face of challenges counter-evidence? Do formation maintenance require abnormal experience alone, or also reasoning biases deficits? We hope show focus has made a substantial contribution philosophy mind continues raise issues central defining concept belief gaining better understanding process information learn world.
