摘要: With the recent development of digital Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) sensors, cost monitoring and detecting seismic events in real time can be greatly reduced. Ability MEMS accelerograph to record a event depends upon efficiency triggering algorithm, apart from sensor’s sensitivity. There are several classic algorithms developed detect events, ranging basic amplitude threshold more sophisticated pattern recognition. Algorithms based on STA/LTA reported computationally efficient for monitoring. In this paper, we analyzed check their suitability using data obtained Quake Catcher Network (network accelerometer stations). We found that most suitable use with accurately events. However, any particular algorithm is dependent parameter set used (i.e., window width STA, LTA level).
