摘要: Abstract A broad-band maximum likelihood method is presented for the detection of and parameter extraction from seismic events using wideband data recorded by an array stations. The statistical characteristics finite Fourier-transformed motivate use approximate maximum-likelihood (ML) methods which allow simultaneous wave-parameter estimation. strategy based on ratio indicates presence a event resolves different phases arriving within time interval interest. corresponding slowness vectors are simultaneously estimated optimization function over parameters potential ML demonstrated GERESS compared to conventional f – k analysis showing advantages former in resolution.
