摘要: The objective of this study was to analyze the clinical profile spondyloarthritides (SpA) in distinct Brazilian regions. A common protocol investigation prospectively applied 202 SpA patients, including 138 patients from South and 64 North. All were classified as axial or peripheral SpA. Clinical demographic variables disease indexes analyzed. Bonferroni correction used adjust level significance each test; results with p value < 0.003 considered statistically relevant. White ethnicity associated positive HLA-B27, while non-Whites presented higher frequency arthritis, although not significant. When comparing non-White North those South, Southerners significantly scores Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score using C-reactive protein (p = 0.001) Health Assessment Questionnaire (p = 0.001). Although significant, Northern more frequently males, had anterior uveitis Bath Index Quality Life. present patterns according geographic region, especially regarding populations.
