摘要: The fairness problems suffered by distributed-queue-dual-bus (DQDB) networks that span metropolitan areas are examined in detail. arise because the network control information is subject to propagation delays much longer than transmission time of a data segment. A rate procedure proposed requires only minor modification current DQDB protocol. In order guarantee node acquires 90% available slots, every it inserts nine segments into its local queue one extra request slot queue. This lets an idle go was not requested any downstream node. >
