摘要: Background. Outcome of renal function and blood pressure (BP) at early middle age was clarified in patients treated for vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) during childhood. Methods. Information available from 147 (55%) 267 nonobstructive VUR any grade. Twelve had died kidney-related conditions eight gone into terminal uraemia. A total 127 participated the study. Results. The mean participants 41 years. No signs scars were detected by ultrasound examination 53 (42%) subjects. Unilateral scarring seen 44 (35%) bilateral 30 (24%) Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) showed moderate or severe insufficiency four (3%) participants, all with scars. Normal GFR found one-third patients. Twenty-five (83%) subjects 60 (62%) other abnormal values (P < 0.05). Proteinuria 12 (9%) albuminuria participants. Hypertension diagnosed earlier 14 (11%) patients, having 0.01). Diastolic BP significantly lower without compared those one both kidneys Conclusions. Renal slightly lowered more than half Findings unilateral unscarred similar, except increased tendency hypertension 83% kidney function, a quarter presented proteinuria hypertension. Long-term follow-up is emphasized.
