摘要: The surgical model of destabilization the medial meniscus (DMM) has become a gold standard for studying onset and progression posttraumatic osteoarthritis (OA). DMM mimics clinical meniscal injury, known predisposing factor development human OA, permits study structural biological changes over course disease. In addition, when applied to genetically modified or engineered mouse models, this procedure dissection relative contribution given gene OA initiation and/or progression.
