摘要: Summary There is an increasing concern in several European countries over the role that tuberculosis (TB)-infected wild boar may play progress of bovine TB eradication campaigns. In 2004, as a consequence detection focus from National Game Reserve (NGR) located southern Catalonia, surveillance programme based on post-mortem inspection for macroscopic TB-like lesions (TBLL) was initiated affected area. The source infection linked to tuberculous cattle herd same Besides, results were used validation indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) specific Mycobacterium complex (MTBC) IgG antibodies. Using this ELISA, seven-year serological study MTBC NGR conducted 173 animals (93 adults, 44 juveniles–yearlings and 36 piglets) culled between 2004 2010. ELISA presence TBLL showed excellent agreement adult juvenile (Kappa index = 0.85; 95% CI: 0.76–0.95). Of thirty-eight yearlings juveniles classified positives by 34 (89%) at necropsy. contrast, none ELISA-positive piglets (n = 20) TBLL, suggesting early antibody responses infection. Overall, contributes knowledge humoral MTBC. also highlight usefulness test surveillance.
