Multiple Plasmon-Induced Transparency Responses in a Subwavelength Inclined Ring Resonators System

摘要: On the basis of single metal–insulator–metal (MIM) ring resonator (RR) structure, which acts as a band-stopped filter, dual RR (DRR) system is proposed to obtain plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) effect. By rotating second an angle, double PIT windows are achieved due interference effects, attributed different excitation pathways from first RR. In addition, triple peaks also by adding extra inclined DRR system. Phase shifts, will occur at each window, and analyzed. These compact MIM waveguide structures may be used in highly integrated optical circuits for biochemical sensors signal processing, data storage.
