摘要: The general purpose of this research is to study the influence commercial machining parameters on fatigue limits steels. Specifically in work, cutting speeds, depth cut, feed rate and residual stresses turned surfaces AISI 4140 steel specimens strength were analyzed. In some specimens, stress was eliminated by heat treatment. experiments carried out at room temperature, applying a cyclical frequency 58Hz, with mean equal zero (R=-1), rotating-bending testing machine constant bending moment type. It used staircase (or up-and-down) method determine limit specimens.
