摘要: Random laser actions in ultraviolet and visible regions have been demonstrated based on the composites consisting of bio-inspired diatom frustules. Owing to low optical loss derived from porous network structures, we report wide spectrum range random lasers arising GaN film Rh6G dye via using biological diatoms as scattering centers. Interestingly, both visible-range with very sharp peaks can be easily obtained, average length optics cavity closed size frustules cases, indicating excellent confinement It is expected that first proof concept shown here pave an avenue toward future broad-range eco-friendly biophotonics devices high performance response.
