摘要: The most powerful predictors of functional recovery and eventual home discharge among stroke survivors are the initial severity patient9s age. We analyzed a large population rehabilitation admissions by stratifying subgroups with coherent outcomes in an attempt to define potentially more efficient patterns providing care. retrospectively 520 consecutive patients admitted hospital (1 calendar year) cerebral infarction or hemorrhage. Side index stroke, age, disability at admission were independent variables. Change versus nursing dependent measures. Recovery was overall closely related but relations between measures complex. Patients aged Standard clinical available carry enough predictive power management strategies for survivors. A algorithm is proposed that might increase efficiency programs allow comparisons efficacy different treatment settings.
