摘要: The northern tropical river and wetland systems of Australia cover a vast mostly remote area. Comparably little is known type, species diversity, ecological processes ecosystem services. Systematic inventory classification lacking research remains disparate in purpose coverage. An integrated framework used to evaluate results from three multidisciplinary studies across various scales synthesise available knowledge relating key attributes both the study region within focus areas. utility geomorphic hydrological at coarse supported but unavailability biological data corresponding finer spatial temporal constrains potential for utilising existing information. Future this similar areas need consider apriori development user-driven specific investigatory tools overcome technical other barriers associated with requirements multi-scalar studies.
