摘要: This paper described the Guideline for Diagnosis and Management of Hyperlipidemias Prevention Atherosclerosis proposed by The Japan Society (JAS) Investigating Committee (1,995-2,000) under auspices JAS Board Directors. 1) guideline defines diagnostic criteria serum total cholesterol (Table 1), LDL-cholesterol triglycerides 4) HDL-cholesterol 7). It also indicates desirable range initiation levels management 2) target treatment LDL-cholesterol. Though both are shown as atherogenic parameter in guideline, use LDL-cholesterol, rather than cholesterol, is encouraged daily medical practice lipid-related studies, because more closely related to atherosclerosis. 3) Elevated low included risk factors, since no sufficient data have been accumulated formulate these two lipid disorders. Emphasis laid on evaluation factors each subject before starting any kind 2). 5) applied solely adults (age 20-64). Lipid abnormalities children or youth age 19, elderly with an over 65 be evaluated their own standard. 6) part gives only aspects hyperlipidemias. will follow second section that published future.
