摘要: Abstract The present study focuses on a thermal model describing rotary kiln reactor. Several applications can be foreseen for this reactor, example high temperature heat storage solar power plants. energy is provided by concentrated radiation that heats up the cavity walls. A model, reactor behavior, developed and validated. Particular attention given to which constitutes most important transfer. An innovative way of modeling aperture through fictive surface at an imposed equivalent leads significant decrease simulation time, without decreasing precision solution. validated comparison first with other models, make different assumptions second experimental results. After validation, used simulating behavior under operating condition or define possible improvements change geometry such as insulation’s conductivity thickness.
