Stability and electronic spectrum of cesium plutonium hexafluoride

摘要: CsPuF/sub 6/ was prepared and verified to be isostructural with corresponding compounds of uranium neptunium. Its decomposition studied in an inert gas atmosphere vacuum. spectrum has been measured the region 400-2000 nm. The energy level structure Pu/sup 5 +/ trigonally distorted octahedral site computed from a predictive model compared observed spectrum. 20 references, 4 figures, 3 tables.
