摘要: Abstract This paper presents a progressive damage analysis methodology to numerically analyse the effect of microvascular open channels on structural properties self-healing fibre–polymer laminates. The tensile and compression carbon–epoxy laminates containing systems are analysed using finite element models which consider in-plane ply intra-ply (matrix delamination cracking). predict with good accuracy (often within 5%) stiffness strength circular or elliptical different sizes orientations. model calculates reduction in increasing size due increased waviness, was confirmed experimental property data. also predicts location progression under loading final failure. has application as tool for design composites used applications.
