摘要: To investigate the functional role of KAI1/CD82, a metastasis suppressor for human prostate cancer, in regulation homotypic cell adhesion, we transfected KAI1 cDNA into DU 145 cancer cells and established stable transfectant clones with high KAI1/CD82 expression. The exhibited significantly increased aggregation comparison control cells. This transfectants was further enhanced upon exposure to anti-CD82 antibody, suggesting that may be involved intracellular signaling adhesion. Among several signal pathway inhibitors tested, PP1, an inhibitor Src family kinases, suppressed Ligation antibody endogenous kinase activity When different types src expression constructs were retransfected KAI1-transfected cells, kinase-negative mutant much lower than mock empty vector. Moreover, not by ligation anti- CD82 antibody. These results suggest mediates induction adhesion
