摘要: Proteases released by larvae of the sheep blowfly have been suggested to a primary role in wound formation and larval nutrition. Assays were carried out on two products analyse substrate specificity these proteases, their abundance approximate molecular weights. Tryptic chymotryptic activities found both though there more chymotrypsin-like enzymes from 48 h cultures (CESP) than product collected direct (LESP). Sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) gels incubated with azocasein showed plaques major enzyme activity at weights 20,000 26,000 LESP CESP, SDS-PAGE gels, when reacted peptide substrates tryptic LESP, whereas CESP only higher The results suggest least three enzymes, trypsin chymotrypsin which is not stable probably CESP. In addition, reactivity elastase plasmin suggests presence general effects skin inflammatory pathways.
