Vibrational studies of copper thiogallate solid solutions

摘要: Abstract Vibrational spectra of Ga 2 S 3 –Cu solid solutions have been studied at room temperature. Raman scattering and far-infrared the zinc-blende structure were carried out in compositional range 0.10≤ n ≤0.25. All can be interpreted using a localized model considering decoupled, weakly deformed GaS 4 tetrahedral units. The presence copper atoms is detected by hardening Ga–S bonds modification network. modes three crystalline forms semiconducting ternary compound CuGaS also investigated. results show that mode frequencies are very sensitive to small variation stoichiometry.
