摘要: Abstract Vibrational spectra of Ga 2 S 3 -CdS solid solutions are studied by far-infrared and Raman scattering spectroscopy. All the can be interpreted using a model considering decoupled weakly deformed MX 4 tetrahedral units. The dominant band attributed to breathing A 1 -mode originates from vibration four neighboring atoms vacancy. broadening bands increases with addition cadmium in solutions. This effect is disordering gallium positions cation sublattice. presence CdS units corresponds fundamental mode CdS. infrared absorption CdGa crystals have been reconsidered for α- β-form. work clearifies confusion contained literature on lattice vibrational two forms .
