摘要: Abstract Background The association between G protein β-polypeptide 3 gene (GNB3) c.825C > T polymorphism (rs5443) and the risk of overweight/obesity has been investigated in many published studies, but results were conflicting inconclusive. A meta-analysis was performed to make a more accurate assessment relationship. Methods PubMed, ProQuest Health & Medical Complete, Web Science, Chinese Biomedical databases (CBM), National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wan Fang searched identify eligible literatures. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) with corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) used assess strength GNB3 overweight/obesity. Results Eleven articles including 15 case–control studies total 10,396 subjects (3171 cases 7225 controls) enrolled meta-analysis. significantly associated under recessive model (OR = 1.22, CI: 1.04–1.44, P = 0.015). Moreover, 825T allele obviously overweight alone all inheritable models (P T males an allelic (P = 0.008), homozygous (P = 0.014), (P = 0.005), dominant (P = 0.049). And also showed that subgroups mean age less than 30 years, consistent HWE, high-quality (P = 0.027, P = 0.043, P = 0.040, respectively) model, not other subgroups. Meta-regression revealed P value publication year, quality scores sources heterogeneity model. “Leave one out” sensitivity analyses indicated significant after excluding some studies. funnel plot Egger's linear regression test Begg's no apparent bias. Conclusion This suggests presence TT homozygote might be genetic factors susceptible or aged 30 years increase susceptibility.
