摘要: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third leading cause of cancer-related death in United States, with number affected people increasing. There are many risk factors that increase CRC risk, including family or personal history CRC, smoking, consumption red meat, obesity, and alcohol consumption. Conversely, increased screening, maintaining healthy body weight, not limiting intake meat all associated reduced morbidity mortality. Mouse models were first used 1928 have played an important role understanding biology treatment long been instrumental clarifying pathobiology formation inhibition. This review focuses on advancements modeling mice.
