摘要: Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular parasite that can infect a variety of mammals and birds, causing toxoplasmosis. Several types vaccines against T. have been developed, but these limitations in terms their safety inadequate efficacy. profilin (TgPF) potential immunodominant antigen for candidate vaccine. In this study, we encapsulated TgPF oligomannose-coated liposomes (OMLs) to evaluate the immune response induced by C57BL/6 mice were immunized with TgPF-OML three times at 14-day intervals challenged gondii. increased survival reduced burden brains after infection. Immunization also TgPF-specific interferon-γ production IgG antibodies mice. Our results demonstrate OML-encapsulated triggers strong humoral cellular responses gondii, vaccine warrants further development.
