摘要: We evaluated the carbohydrate preferences of C-type lectin receptors (CLRs) SIGNR1, SIGNR3, and Langerin as pathogen-uptake based on uptake liposomes consisting cholesterol, DPPC, various neoglycolipids at molar ratios 10:10:1 10:7:4, respectively, using non-phagocytic CHO cells that express these transiently. SIGNR1-expressing ingested coated with terminal mannose residues, such Man2-, Man3-, Man5-DPPE, a N-acetylglucosamine. SIGNR1 mediated Man3-DPPE-coated most efficiently. Uptake lower neoglycolipid content by SIGNR3- or Langerin-expressing was slight negligible, but into detected for higher content. clearly Lewis X antigen, whereas barely liposomes, even In contrast, SIGNR3 Langerin, not blood group H antigen. These results indicate CLRs similar carbohydrate-recognition characteristics have distinct properties carbohydrate-decorated particles.
