摘要: Objectives. Inadequate training of investigators in statistics and research methods Africa contributes to having limited local evidence infrastructure support multi-centre international trials. Methods teaching junior oncology professionals tend not emphasise discovery, or the roles emotional engagement social networking facilitating effective efficient learning. We developed a strategy for in-context, centred on shared practical project. Design. An African network (AFRES) was created members conducted pilot clinical registry study acquire real-time data over 4-month period 2011. Following closure, proto-course consisting 7 modules, each orientated topic development, implementation reporting administered 18 weeks all eight AFRES members. A survey participants evaluate impact this strategy. Results. This strictly voluntary project had 5 8 engaged process. Within one year, we generated submitted two manuscripts news items publication.
