摘要: Abstract 3 H-thymidine-labeled mouse leukemic cells were cultivated together with L for 1, 2, 3, and 5 days in the presence of excess carrier thymidine. Coverslips adherent monolayers fixed subjected to autoradiogaphy. The resulting autoradiographic images controlled by means repeated autoradiography DNase digestion. A great proportion was phagocytized digested inside cytoplasmic vacuoles cells. Pycnotic which failed come contact usually formed an extracellular corona DNase-sensitive radioactivity. definite amount label found It randomly distributed cytoplasm and, on other hand nucleolus-associated chromatin. Since no appreciable as well nucleolar removed action living cells, possibility excluded that labeled DNA adsorbed cell surface. About 0.6 1.9 per cent contained one or several regions nucleus after 24 h incubation; percentage slowly declined course longer incubation periods. Control experiments replacing tritium radioactivity H-thymidine under otherwise identical experimental conditons gave evidence labeling not associated synthesis observations are explained terms translocation from donor into recipient rough estimate indicates incorporated represents 4.8 mean content nucleus.
