摘要: UNLABELLED Non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs, inhibitors of cyclooxigenase (COX), have been postulated to deletereous effects on the heart. Recently, COX-2 also found block late preconditioning (LP) protection. Aspirin is most widely clinically used non-steroid drug; yet its effect LP in big mammals has not determined. It inhibits two isoenzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), at high doses being as an drug low antithrombotic agent. The goal this study was thus, analyse different aspirin protection against stunning arrhythmias a conscious sheep model. animals were divided 5 groups: control (C): 12 min ischemia (I)-2 hr reperfusion (R); LP: 6 periods I-5 R, 24 before I, three groups same LP, but with 1.5 (LPA1.5), 8 (LPA8) 20 (LPA20) mg/kg respectively, administered 10 first I. Results showed that dose (20 mg/kg) able inhibit (C vs LPA20, NS), whereas (1.5 intermediate (8 did interfere LPA1.5 LPA8, p < 0.01). Moreover, no altered arrhythmias. CONCLUSION Antithrombotic would stunning, be potentially deletereous. Since blocked when triggering episodes, our results show COX pathway might involved trigger stunning.
