摘要: The increasing use of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) raises concerns about their potential toxic effects on the environment. Granular shape sludge is a special type microbial aggregate. response aerobic granular (AGS) to long-term presence Ag NPs has not been well studied. In this study, AGS was exposed 5 and 50mg/L in sequence batch reactors (SBRs) for 69 days, its evaluated based properties, activity community, reactor performance. results showed that caused inhibition activities from Day 35. At end days exposure, significantly inhibited terms inhibitions ammonia oxidizing rate (33.0%), respiration (17.7% 45.6%) denitrification (6.8%), as decreases mono-oxygenase nitrate reductase activities. During maintained large granule size (approximately 900 μm); community slightly changed, but dominant population remained. Overall, tolerated toxicity well, exposure may produce chronic AGS, which concerning.
