摘要: In this paper we analyse the energy consumption of BitTorrent, most popular Peer-to-Peer (P2P) application, over IP/WDM networks considering different peers behaviour scenarios. We show, by mathematical modelling and simulation, that leechers can cause high network if they leave after finishing downloading. introduce an efficient approach to compensate for negative impact departure on consumption.
