摘要: A dramatic effect of crystal morphology, photoreactivity and photosalient property is observed in a zinc(II) complex due to solvent effects fluorine substitution at the backbone ligand. Of two forms with 3-fluoro derivative, one yielded curved morphology single crystals second form shows solid state, whereas 2-fluoro derivative pop during [2 + 2] photocycloaddition reaction. This first report documenting metal complexes obtained naturally crystallization, although such bent have been extended solids naturally, or by mechanical force UV irradiation.
