摘要: Dynamic thermal rating (DTR) of power transmission lines can provide a significant increase in capacity compared to the more traditional static rating. This gained be used normal and emergency operational flexibility systems. Ampacity values determined either directly or indirectly from sag ambient weather conditions. The most important inputs weather-based DTR systems are meteorological data. data obtained form instantaneous averaged values, with various sampling/update intervals. study examines effect character on performance calculations. analysis is based real high-resolution wind temperature measurements. Owing random updates data, accurate estimates ampacity temperature. Update intervals 10 minutes sufficient, while longer cause calculation errors. could lead substantial risk conductor overload. presented results for effective management They help avoid errors calculations, thus minimising system outages premature ageing conductors.
