摘要: Data mining played vital role in comprehending, analyzing, understanding and interpreting microarray technology expression data. That includes search for genes that had similar or correlated patterns of expression. For that, the feature selection was one frequently used important techniques data preprocessing. Many algorithms been developed. Yet persisting problem selecting optimal subset features from colon tumor dataset. The use reduced number features, removed irrelevant, redundant noise thereby improving accuracy, efficiency, applicability understandability learning process. Dimensionality reduction were components classification techniques. In this study, authors presented a comparative study existing six methods proposed two their own.
