摘要: The records of 62 patients (36 female and 26 male) with pathologically confirmed adrenal cortical carcinoma who had operations between 1960 1980 were reviewed. mean age was 48 years. There 36 (58%) functioning tumors (42%) nonfunctioning tumors. Curative resection performed in 31 patients, palliative 14, open biopsy alone 17 an overall operative mortality rate 9.7% a 5-year survival 16%. no significant difference rates those plus adjunctive therapy. Patients stages I to III lesions or underwent curative resections significantly longer than stage IV disease resections, respectively. Factors that failed influence included versus biopsy, tumor size, grade, function, patient sex age. We conclude staging is prognostically valuable, aggressive surgical treatment recommended lesions, prospective randomized study adjuvant for all indicated.
