摘要: Computer-aided 3D tract tracking techniques (called tractography) can be very useful to understand trajectories and their relationships with other white matter tracts gray structures. This chapter discusses how three-dimensional reconstructed from diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) data. There are two types of reconstruction techniques. One is based on “tract propagation,” the “energy minimization.” The former strategy a deterministic approach because it provides only one solution (trajectory) given seed, there no prior knowledge about destination propagation. propagation model consists three important steps. First, local fiber orientation estimated, in which options; tensor, vector longest axis ellipsoid. second step line or information. third termination In energy minimization approach, arbitrary points space selected, method most probable path connect together.
