摘要: Objective To review the effect of fluocinolone acetonide implant in subjects with autosomal dominant neovascular inflammatory vitreoretinopathy (ADNIV), an inherited autoimmune uveitis. Methods A retrospective case series was assembled from patients ADNIV who received implants. Visual acuity and features ADNIV, including cells, neovascularization, fibrosis, cystoid macular edema, were reviewed. Results Nine eyes 5 related uncontrolled inflammation Follow-up ranged 21.7 to 56.7 months. at implantation 20/40 hand motion. Preoperatively, 8 had vitreous cells (a ninth diffuse hemorrhage). Eight 7 epiretinal membrane, 3 retinal neovascularization. Following implantation, resolved all neovascularization regressed or failed develop. Central thickness improved 4 eyes. During postoperative course, however, visual continued deteriorate, most recent examination ranging 20/60 no light perception. There also progressive intraocular fibrosis phthisis 1 case. Four underwent cataract surgery. Six without previous glaucoma surgery elevated pressure some point, these required Conclusions The may inhibit specific such as but does not stabilize long-term vision, thickening, fibrosis. All this extraction, more than half surgical intervention for glaucoma. Further studies identify additional therapies any benefit earlier implantation.
