摘要: Abstract: Electrodeposition is a well-known conventional surface modification method to improve the characteristics, decorative and functional, of wide variety materials. Now, electrodeposition emerging as an accepted versatile technique for preparation nanomaterials. Work done in this direction discussed chapter. The basics are introduced, then nanomaterials using special techniques reducing grain size. Methods such pulse reverse current deposition, template-assisted deposition use additives refiners explained with suitable examples. Deposition nanostructured metals, alloys, metal matrix composites, multilayers biocompatible materials reported literature discussed. Finally, there discussion improved corrosion resistance electrodeposited materials, quoting results literature.
