摘要: Slow degradation was observed in sodium/beta-alumina electrolytes subjected to long term cycling Na/S cells. The propagated as a layer from the sodium side. It involves internal deposition of metal during current passage. This Mode II distinct chemical colouration and I failure (Poiseuille pressure due cathodic driving isolated cracks). Degradation also on sulfur side electrolyte associated with graphite felt “imprinting effect.” is thought that resulted electron conduction into solid beta-alumina/sodium interface charging cycle.
