摘要: This paper aims to review the state-of-the-art concerning use of beta-alumina ceramics as a solid electrolyte in sodium-sulphur battery. Design and operating conditions cell are first outlined leading specifications for tubes. The various fabrication procedures which have been studied presented with regard powder preparation, shaping sintering. major problem encountered by developers is in-cell durability tube. Studies on electrical breakdown main cause failure recently emphasized: usually associated penetration or formation sodium general blackening extending from side. To solve this problem, further research development improving reliability tubes needed.
