摘要: A population-based laboratory surveillance was conducted during a six-year period to define the incidence, demographic risk factors for acquisition, and anti-microbial susceptibilities of Serratia species isolates. total 715 incident isolates were identified an annual incidence 10.8 per 100,000 residents; bacteremic disease occurred in 0.9 residents annually. The increased with advancing age males at highest risk. Ninety-two percent marcescens, majority (65%) community onset. Ninety-five susceptible ciprofloxacin, 98% gentamicin, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole, >99% imipenem. No yearly increase resistance observed. isolation is most commonly onset older patients are Despite reports increasing among species, our region remains low stable rate.
