摘要: Objective To evaluate the volume of deadspace (DS) and degree errors in concentration medications during medication dilution with needle removable syringe (NRS) compared to nonremovable (NNRS). Material method 300 syringes were tested divided into 3 groups as follows: The first group was 100 insulin 1 ml (NRIS) a 27 gauge (Terumo), second NRIS (Nipro) third non (NNRIS) (Terumo). All sets (without cover) weighed Mettler electronic balance. Volume DS measured calculated using standard method. 10 each randomly selected test for dilutional process (310 micro unit per ml) dilution. specimens collected by ejecting all diluents collecting tubes concentrations radioimmunoassay technique (insulin-CT biointernational, France) twice sample. Concentration then back results noted analysed. Results Means (2.4 +/- 0.8 microl) significantly less than (49.7 00.9 2 (65.3 0.7 (median = microlitre). three different from other largest 2. After dilution, still close (335 28 vs 310 microunits/ml), whereas higher (1.7 1.9 times) (1.8 times). Conclusions is not negligible considered potential source error when it used dilute parenteral neonatal intensive care (NICU).
