摘要: The purpose of this work was to characterize the results five different processes bovine tissue deproteinization, resulting in fabrication deproteinized xenogenic osteoconductive biomaterials for bone regeneration as an alternative autogenic grafts. studies on deproteinization cancellous specimens, excised from fresh femoral heads, included following processes: thermal and four chemical using solutions 2.6 wt% sodium hypochlorite, 7 hydrogen peroxide, 1 N potassium hydroxide hydroxide. optimal parameters were designed basis thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) specimens during a pilot study process. Periodical evaluation all performed via assessment protein concentration by Lowry method. mechanical properties evaluated compression testing air-dry condition. compressive strength completely after process remarkably lower compared with those 6.5 times peroxide solution 3 hypochlorite solution. SEM examination showed microcracks trabecular surfaces generated stresses. presence biomaterial resulted decrease its ultimate strength.
