摘要: Human osteoblastic bone marrow cells were cultured for periods of up to 28 days in control conditions and on the surface a glass reinforced hydroxyapatite composite (HA/G1) commercial (HA) plasma-sprayed coatings, "as-received" condition after immersion treatment culture medium 21 days. Cultures characterized total protein content alkaline phosphatase activity. Scanning electron microscope analyses performed cultures, seeded materials incubated absence cells. Culture media analyzed ionized calcium phosphorus concentrations throughout incubation period. Immersion HA/G1 HA coatings resulted significant alterations levels medium, leading modifications. However, material samples showed differences pattern variation these species. Cell proliferation was observed composite, but cell mediated formation mineral deposits not proved. In contrast, hardly supported growth. Previously immersed evidence biological deposits. presented better characteristics growth as behavior closer that cultures.
