摘要: Two synthetic hydroxyapatite powders (A and B), supplied by differentmanufacturers, were physically chemically characterized before being diepressed sintered at 1250°C. The using X-raydiffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IRS), X-ray fluorescence, surface areaanalysis (BET), particle size analysis scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The materials then pressed to produce discs ofsimilar densities grain sizes for in vitro evaluation. ceramicswere seeded with osteoblastic cells after 15 days culture the cellmorphology was assessed (SEM), theultrastructure of studied transmission microscopy(TEM) EDAX, rate cell growth biochemicaltechniques. results clearly showed that proliferation butnot alkaline phosphatase production, highl!y dependent on composition used makethe ceramic discs. ultrastructural studies confirmed relativeviabilities nature interface indicatingvisually marked differences performance two materials.
