摘要: Abstract Rutile phase of SnO2 quantum dots average size 2.5 nm were synthesized at a growth temperature 70 °C and characterized with XRD, TEM, FTIR Raman analysis. The effective strain within the lattice was calculated by Williamson–Hall method. broad peaks in XRD as well spectra presence bands 569 432 cm−1 are due to lower crystallinity nanoparticles. optical band gap increased 3.75 eV attributed effect. annealed air atmosphere crystallite particles annealing temperature. Sunlight assisted photodegration property investigated vanillin model system it shows photodegradation efficiency 87%. photoluminescence nanocrystallite decreases increase contributed reduction population defects surface area.
