摘要: CD70 is up-regulated in several malignancies, where it induces cytotoxic effects on B and T lymphocytes, leading to immune escape. Novel therapeutic agents targeting have entered clinical trials. We characterized expression of protein renal cell carcinoma specimens various histologic subtypes assessed their prognostic value association with clinical/pathologic variables. used tissue microarrays containing 330 cases using a novel fluorescent immunohistochemistry-based method Automated Quantitative Analysis situ expression. The mean was almost twice as high tumors relative normal (P < .0001). When broken into subsets, higher sarcomatoid clear .0001) variably elevated oncocytomas some papillary tumors. No found between stage or grade. High associated decreased survival univariate analysis the subset carcinoma; however, did not retain significance multivariate analysis. Given cell, sarcomatoid, tumors, our findings suggest that might be good drug target carcinoma. Additional studies are warranted assess response therapy CD70-targeting drugs
