Study design Of 486 patients, 268 had serum samples available for retrospective TTV DNA HGV RNA assays. In addition, the sera 404 were assayed HB surface antigen 340 HCV antibody. Results detected 3 (1.1%), 60 (22.4%). antigens (0.7%). Furthermore, 13 HCV-seropositive (3.8%). rate similar between those deformities, respectively, as follows: 1.1% versus 0%, HBV prevalence; 4.1% 3.2% 1.8% 0% 22.9% 21.4% prevalence. Conclusions Universal precautions to prevent during oral surgical procedures are important.
