摘要: AbstractMicrofissuring in the heat affected zone (HAZ) around electron beam (EB) welds was studied two Inconel 718 based superalloys containing minimum possible concentrations of C, S and P, 11 43 wt-ppm B. The microfissuring susceptibility evaluated by measuring microcracks formed HAZs EB examining hot ductility behaviour material. Bead on plate type welding, cooling tests a Gleeble 1500 thermomechanical simulator were performed alloys with different grain sizes. results crack measurements welded samples correlated very well each other.
