摘要: The p-state Potts glass with infinite range Gaussian interactions can be solved exactly in the thermodynamic limit and exhibits an unconventional phase behavior if p >4: A dynamical transition from ergodic to non-ergodic at a temperature T D is followed by first order 0 < D, where parameter appears discontinuously, although latent heat zero. If one assumes that similar scenario occurs for structural as well (though singular rounded off), should good test case develop methods deal finite size effects static dynamic transition, check what remnants of these transitions are left sized systems, they used simulations. While it shown sensible extrapolation N → ∞ simulation results compatible exact results, we find would rather difficult obtain correct understanding system only numerical data available.
